Permits
- Building permit records show that Brooklyn Heating and plumbing has worked on 22 permitted projects.
This is the worst company in Brooklyn. Last year, I contacted them to assess an issue with my boiler and was quoted $125 for the assessment. The owner dispatched some tech named Ahmad who for some reason never shows up. But instead sends over they young guys to do the work. The company name is under Lifetime P&H (347) 495-9645. If this number calls you, RUN!
When they came last year, the guys changed the initial assessment that I was quoted to $350. And later charged me $1800 to change a transformer on the boiler. The work was so poorly done and subpar. They had to return over 5 times to fix an issue they created with the boiler because they did not set the boiler properly. Fast forward to Feb 2023, I called them because my boiler was not igniting simply because the work was still under warranty. And again, they dispatched Ahmad who sent over two young guys who didn't know what they were doing. The guys called him on the phone where he "diagnosed" a non-existent issue with my boiler. He quoted me $1500 to change my gas valve and $8500 to change my boiler without budging on the price. I told them i would shop around because I felt something was off. So I called a different company. The first thing that they said was did I have an issue with this company because (1) they unplugged several parts in the boiler (2) turned the switch to pilot so that the boiler would never turn on. That's their way of showing you that the issue they diagnosed is correct. The assessment of the actual issue (low water cutoff - a non-emergency) only cost me $125. That part costs less that $125.
I called Brooklyn Heating and Plumbing regarding my complaint, he said, "What do you want me to do about it?"
BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
