    To Mel White:
On 1st June 2018 I requested work to be completed at my residence at 3121 W Louise Ave. Lancaster CA. 93536 from Brock Plumbing for a water leak under my drive way. Brock Plumbing showed up on 2nd June to analyze the situation and give me an estimate on the work to be done. During the inspection I told him of previous problems last year with an irrigation line that was not capped off right and made him aware as a last resort to cut concrete to repair the problem and that the first thing to look at was capping a valve before digging up my driveway concrete! Brock Plumbing agreed to start work at my residence at or before 0900 hours on 4 June. On 4 June Brock Plumbing showed up at my residence to begin work on my water leak under my driveway. They started by trying to test where the water leak was at under the driveway. They decided that they thought the water was coming from a main water line going to the valves for the irrigation system. They then proceeded to dig up my concrete and look for the water leak. They found the water leaks on the irrigation line going to capped lines in the pipe that were being fed from the irrigation valves. Before they dug I also pointed out to the owner (Mell White) that I had a previous problem last year with an irrigation line that was not capped off right. Brock plumbing found the irrigation line was not capped off correctly and this was the problem where the water leak was coming from. They also dug up previously in the wrong spot looking for another problem and said they found a nick in a 1 inch main line. This is also stated on my invoice from the company which is a total lie. First of all this is old concrete that was laid on 2012 if there was a nick in the main 1 inch water line that would have been evident after the concrete was poured in 2012. I have not had any water problems until the day I call out Brock Plumbing on June 4th. They fixed the problem with the main water line that was self-inflicted by them and also the irrigation line that was being fed by another water valve. My question is if there was a nick in this water line why did become evident a long time ago when the concrete was first laid in 2012. The argument I have is why did they not examine the valves first and eliminate the valves that were being used and active and find the valve which was not active and not being used and just cap that one to see if it rectified the problem first before digging up my concrete. The valve that was not being used or active for any of the sprinklers ended up being the problem was stuck on all the time. I reiterate that I told them if the problem can be fixed by eliminating the valve that was not being used for any irrigation to fix that first. I am not the expert here but with a logical approach to finding this problem they would have not had to dig up my concrete and could have saved a lot of time and money by just capping off the inactive valve that was feeding lines that where capped under my driveway concrete. I argued this point to Brock plumbing specifically Mell White the owner on several occasions. The first conversation took place on 6 June at 0738 AM as indicated by the call log provided. During this conversation the owner Mell White agreed that I would pay him half of the $725.00 ($362.50). I have repeatedly told Bank of America that the owner (Mell White) told me that he would credit back half of the money. The second phone call was from the owner (Mell White) on 13 June. During this conversation he told me that he was being held accountable for a service charge of $25 which he did agree with. I told him that if it came down to it I would pick up this service charge and that I just wanted to get the whole thing resolved. He agreed to this he also asked me not to write any bad reviews on his company on line. I also agreed to this and have not written anything about Brock Plumbing on line to date. I called Mell White again on 07-03-18 at 1210 hours to reiterate what he agreed upon which was half of the $725 dollars. He told me that he already credited the money and I told him to email a statement that he credited half the money back to my account. He said he would research and find out the best way to do this. Called Brock plumbing again on 07-06-18 at 1415 hours to dispute the charges again since the owner had already agreed to credit me back $362.50, but to date 09-07-18 Mel the owner has done nothing. Bottom line this company will scam your money and not take responsibility for doing things the wrong way. I could have fixed the problem myself for penny's. Now I got eye soars for patch jobs in my driveway and paid over 700 dollars for concrete that did not need to be pulled up!!! How about a little bit of integrity MEL!!!
