    Bought our house brand new from them in 2013. Like many other homeowners in our sub division we were lied to on several occassions. Punch list was never completed, we had a shower drain leak that led to mold that they never came to fix. Our back door had a waterfall running down it from the top during rain, our neighbor's roof wasn't even complete and they didn't know until the had mold running rampant in their house. Terrible company, terrible customer service, and horrendous "craftsmanship." For YEARS there have been AT LEAST 10 homeowners in our subdivision that have not had issues addressed even after multiple contacts. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

    I would NEVR recommend these builders to anyone for any reason. We purchased a brand new home built by them 6 months ago and it is falling apart. They also refuse to come fix it even though we have a 1 year builders warranty. We have had things that needed fixed since our walkthrough at closing. They still are not fixed. If I had done research about these builders, I would never had purchased this home.

    We bought our first house from Brookside Builder, the owner is Doug and Rick, the agent is Martha. So disappointing with the purchase.
    1. They have been pushing the one-year walkthrough and then totally ignored us.
    2.They didn't do the grading and drainage work right causing us so much pain.
    3. They will firstly politely answer questions and then Martha said that she is out of it and Doug and Rick will not answer your call, so please be careful.
    4. Please don't believe them that they will get work done, they won't because they do not care once the house is closed.

    Such a greedy and irresponsible builder.

    We built the house with Brookside 2009. From the time we moved in for the first two years we had a major window leak in our front bedroom. Had to stay on them and on them to keep coming back and do different things that never fix the problem. Finally complained enough that they had to tear out the window and found that the sheathing was on the inside of the window allowing the water to run down into it and into the house. And that was just one thing I can't even begin to list all the issues with our house. We have cracks in the walls Nails coming out of the wall, driveway patio walkway all concrete cracked terrible. They told me that was normal. I had a company come out and measure the thickness of our driveway and the construction of it and they found that it was not installed properly that is why we're getting all the cracking. And the owner and any of his help are a joke, worthless, worthless. I do not know how this company is still in business. Do not, do not Buy a home from this company, you will regret it big time. I cannot give them a rating because it needs to be a negative review.

    HONESTLY, where do I even begin. I've purchased several new homes in my life time. This group has to be the ABSOLUTE WORST. Purchased from them in 2018 and that in itself was a nightmare. Superintendent had to be the most unprofessional individual I've ever dealt with. He came to one of our final walk-through's 30 minutes late, and proceeded to trudge his muddy boots throughout the home as we literally told him our entire house needs to be repainted before closing. Now one year out, I've personally been forced to chase around THEIR contractors in order to complete the jobs that were listed to be fulfilled by our One Year Warranty Agreement. And now, having dealt with numerous No-Call No-Shows on these individuals, I'm still chasing around to get them to do their jobs. Good luck to whoever purchases from them in the future; you'll be the one's doing their job before its all said and done. You'd be better off building the home yourself!

    Have lived in many new homes over the years. Purchased from this builder in 64154. Worst experience ever. Purchased 2018. Still no topsoil and sod. Builder does not respond to issues not completed or need corrected. Many homes here are in the same condition. Gives the impression the project is in financial trouble.

    Builder was late with the house. Pushed the closing date by 1 month. Tried to push the closing date again after the 1 month delay. When backed into a corner, worked the necessary hours to "finish" the house. Final grade, landscaping, and sod are still not done. Punch list items have lingered for months. Wouldn't hire this company to build a dog house!
