I put a deposit on a Brownhaven home in July. I made a special trip to their design center to review additional upgrades and a trip from Florida for a site meeting. On October 22nd their General Mgr. Rick called and said he was canceling my home. He said he thought I would be happy because he was being honest with me that he didn’t have the resources in the area to manage my home. I thought I was doing business with an honest turn key builder when I signed the purchase agreement. Since they advertise they turnkey build for a set price, it appears they weren’t willing to live up to the agreement in my case....buyer beware! I am months behind schedule and out of pocket for two trips, time and expenses.
