  We highly recommend Morelli Concrete. Pete was professional and he and his hard working crew finished our job in 3 days! The price was more than reasonable for such a big job: new garage floor and driveway, as well as a complete makeover with a new patio and walkway entrance. What a transformation!! Pete was and is always available when I text him with questions, even after the job was complete. So glad we hired Morelli!!

  Concrete steps, walkway and patio area

  I don't know how it would went because we parted ways due to their unprofessional responses and not being able to set a date to do my work after over a month of me having signed a contract. The best I got was 10 day window and being told that I would be notified a day before they were going to do the work. That was not acceptable to me considering my husband or I would need to take the day off and can not do that without ample notice. Not to mention we start off with a sloppy contract were they had my last name wrong. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone that is looking to have something done in a timely manner. If you have time to wait and to be told at a moment's notice, then you should be fine. After several email correspondences they had the nerve to say that I was treating them poorly because I wanted to know when this work would be done. Whomever was emailing me, and I say whomever because there was never a name or a company signature added, again highly unprofessional for a business that is asking me to pay them $11,000. I work with contractors on a daily basis and none of them are as unprofessional as these people. They also said that since I was giving them a hard time now that they could only imagine how I would be if they did the work. That is another red flag to me because it seems like you are not confident in your work that you already think that I would have an issue with the outcome. My only issue was their responsiveness to my numerous emails requesting a date so that I could schedule the day off. Maybe it is just me, but I did not think that that was too much to ask. I have now lost 6 weeks when I could have had another contract have this project done by now.

  And I guess they felt like they had to have the last word because I received the below email this morning, once again, with no signature. This company knows who I am because although the contract was addressed to my husband, I am the one who emailed it back and who has signed my emails with MY NAME. Now they want to play like they have no idea who they are even dealing with.

  Our contract was with Michael Badami not you. We do not even know who you are. Because of YOUR communication with us, we have cancelled MICHAEL BADAMI'S contract with us per YOUR email. Please stop emailing us.

  Concrete driveway, walkway and front patio

  My parents received many estimates before they decided to go with Bruno as his price was reasonable for the work and they trusted him. During the project, my father requested they install rebar to go into the threshold of the garage and drill two (2) holes into the foundation to prevent the slab of concrete from lifting. Bruno told my father they would do this but it was never done. As a result, the slab of concrete lifted and cracked (photo # 1 below). In addition, another portion of the driveway where it curved behind the house also cracked soon after the job was completed (photo # 2).

  My mother called Bruno to correct this as his motto is ' We Stand Behind Our Work' and Bruno agreed to send someone out to "fill" the cracks - if that didn't work he agreed to correct it another way. Well, the "sealer" didn't work (as you can see) and since then we have called him numerous times but have yet to have the problem repaired.

  One of the main problems is you can NEVER reach them during the day - the number they give you is to his personal residence where his wife will answer the phone and, depending on the day, will either ask if you want to leave a message or tell you that there is no guarantee Bruno will return the message so try back after 8:00 pm! When I did finally get Bruno on the phone he vaguely said that someone would go out to the house to look at it WHEN he had a crew in the area...which wouldn't be for another 3 weeks (no specific date was given). That was supposed to happen the first week of August and I still have not heard from him. I tried calling on the weekend (9:00 am on a Saturday) and early morning (7:30 am) and constantly miss Bruno. Also, his wife will not give you his cell phone number so there is NO way to reach him until he arrives home.

  Do NOT use this contractor - communication is horrible and they do NOT stand behind their work. Now I'm going to have to hire another contractor to fix their crappy work and see about getting them to reimburse us for the cost.
