In September of 2017, I hired Brushia Carpentry to build a carport for my two vehicles. I asked Brushia Carpentry to connect the carport to the roof line of the shed to keep out the rain and snow. Upon completion of the carport, I found the carport not connected to the shed, and the trusses were not built on the support beams of the roof. Every time it rained or snowed my vehicles would have rain or snow on them. Mr. Brushia never made any attempt to correct this error, even though I spoke to him several times to fix this. Mr. Brushia would only say that he would get around to it. During this past winter, the carport collasped damaging my truck. Mr,. Brushia assured me that he would "make it right". Later I found out that Mr. Brushia carried no insurance when he built my carport. He did rent a lift to removed the carport from my truck, and then placed it on my side yard. Mr. Brushia left nails and screws from the carport strewn across my carport slab and driveway. Mr. Brushia told me he would remove the remnants of the carport at a later date. He has not! The carport remnants remains on my side yard.
To date, Brushia Carpentry has decided to not take any responsibility to the collapse of the carport after only been constructed 1 1/2 years.
