Bsm Landscaping

I cannot recommend BSM Landscaping for any work. In summary, their costs were overly high; the quality of work was mediocre; and the owner attempted to extort extra money for supposed “out of contract” work that they performed without prior authorization. I found their owner and his business practices to be deceptive and offensive. If zero was a rating option I would use it.
The owner refuses to talk with us directly. Instead, he sends his employees out to request the extra reimbursement. His employees have been very polite and professional and we feel they are being unfairly treated. It seems they have been warned by the owner that they won’t get paid until they collect the money. I’m not sure that’s legal.
Bottom line: I cannot recommend BSM LANDSCAPING.

Our experience is not a good experience. We were told that we would not have
so many weeds. That nothing gets through the black layer of plastic they put down. We have more weeds, including wheat growing in our yard. I called but they do not respond. The weeds are worse than ever. Before we had dandelion and clover, now we have weed that we have no idea what they are, along with big round clumps of grass. We put weed killer down and it is right back. I think for a 1 day job which is how long it took 3 people to do the whole front. They told me they had 7 hours to do it and then they had to leave. They did not know, because they were not told exactly what they were to do, what they were to use, etc. Also they laid a wall and a man who does walls for a living relayed that it will not stay because they did not dig and put a stone foundation down. It was to cover the left side of the house up to the brick covering the foundation wall. I think for $11,900 they are not doing a very good job. No reply, next step investigators. The 3 kids that did the job were very polite, very nice, but were not landscapers.

I have used BSM landscaping on several projects for clients of Northeast Foundation & Concrete Inc as well as my self and other family members homes. If you are looking for a straight shooter and fair pricing. I can’t say I could recommend anyone better than these guys. Brandon always starts out by interrogating me on what I really want so he can deliver and satisfy our needs. After a few projects. I literally tell them to just make it look good. They deliver 10/10 results every time. Not once have I been disappointed. Attention to detail is on point.
