  Put in a sliding screen door

  I can’t comment on the quality of their work because no work has taken place and my texts and voicemails haven’t been answered. All I need is a new screen door for my slider to my balcony. April 5 Carlos came over to take the measurements and said if they had the correct size they could install later that day. I paid cash for that visit. Later I was told that it needed to be ordered from Home Depot and would take 4-5 weeks. After 4 weeks I started texting to find out when to expect the door to arrive but got no response. A few days later I texted again and said I’d like the courtesy of a reply. No reply. I have left 3 voicemails asking for an update but haven’t heard back. So, 2 months after paying for the measurement I have no screen, no information and I’m very upset.

  Bottom line: If you want water running down the interior of your walls in the middle of the winter due to poor workmanship, please hire these amateurs.
  Installed brand new gutters and facia PVC boards last summer and the gutters leaked immediately. POOR workmanship. Then I come to find out the hard way, the new gutters didn't have any slope which caused water to sit in the gutter and freeze resulting in heavy build up and then water flowing into my kids bedroom walls. They came over to look at it says the gutter are fine even though I showed them there was little to NO SLOPE with a leveler. Completely denied responsibility and unprofessional.

  exterior and interior house work

  Crew was on time every day, they communicated well with me all throughout my project. I am very pleased with work done by this crew. I had exterior and some interior work completed. They replaced my gutter system. Trim (fascias, soffits) repair outside my home and crown molding inside my home. Also installed very nice tile backslash in my kitchen. Highly recommend Vlad and his crew.

  Kitchen upgrade, painting walls, floor refinishing, electrical, plumbing and door finishing and hang

  First, let's talk about what was good: I found it easy to speak with the site foreman and a couple of the workers. They were friendly and easily engaged. There were suggestions about what to do that made sense, for instance taking out 130 year old horse hair plaster and replacing it. They easily adjusted to adding more work to a job that didn't seem terribly complex, but over the course of the project did get more complicated. My choices of wall finishes, floor finishes, lighting and countertops were complied with.
  That said, the technical ability of the "professionals" was clearly not at the level expected. Walls had to be repainted due to uneven tones in the kitchen, a floor needed to be re-sanded and re-polyurethaned and a light in the kitchen over the sink was installed without a switch to turn it on or off.
  Locks on doors didn't function on my interior doors and had to be addressed for security concerns. Marks on flooring that wasn't protected had to be addressed. A globe in my ceiling fan was broken, yet nothing was mentioned to me about it until I noticed that it was broken - at which time, they did replace it.
  Throughout the project, there were items that needed to be brought to the attention of the site foreman who began to take more and more time to give me updates and, at last, didn't respond to me at all.
  An exterior door was to be replaced. This was the absolute worst part of the experience in that the door was poorly hung with a huge gap and originally with locks that wouldn't work. Not only that, I could neither get into or out of the house due to the door locks on the front of the house. The old door had to be put back on due to inability to get the door hung on the first try. They left, leaving behind my keys on the kitchen counter, indicating to me that they thought the job was done until I notified them that the job was unacceptable. Their reply was that they hadn't finished but forgot the keys, asking if I would leave them for them in order for the work to be completed. My personal opinion is that they thought the job was acceptable, yet there was a large gap between the door and frame and the doorframe itself was cracked at the strike plates for the hardware. They did come back and improved upon what they had done, but the job was still not done correctly and a new contractor, one whom I have used before for my own interior doors, was consulted. The job is still awaiting his consultation as to what to do to fix it. As a result, I would not recommend.
  I would like to emphasize that the ease in which most things were arranged was good and the issues that were raised were addressed. However, the skill level does not correlate to what was done and it is my personal opinion that this particular crew are home handymen, but NOT professionals.
  On another note, contracted work that could not be completed consisted of electrical and plumbing, for which the final bill had to be reduced. I would not re-hire and would not recommend.
