    Pool
    $70,000

I had an amazing experience with Wendy and her team. My project came in on budget and on time. I was kept updated every step of the way and either Wendy or the Project Manager came out to review the work every week.

I appreciated that Wendy was upfront with what to expect when building a pool.

Wendy has built numerous pools for friends and neighbors and everyone has had similar experience to mine.

Wendy has given my family amazing memories in our new backyard!

Horrible company. The sub-contractors they use are sub-par and perform terrible work. Stamped concrete deck is terrible; sinking, cracking, sharp edges everywhere that cut your feet, not level with pool coping Contacted them regarding issues and never got a response. The pebble tec is uneven and splotchy, looks terrible. The coping was installed by a bunch of drunks that were drinking beer in my backyard and looks terrible. Stay away. Feel free to contact me for more info. Many other issues.

    Build a Pool

Buyer beware, red flags from the start. Owner Wendy collects her fee up front which at first sounds reasonable as the fee is fixed. Once work begins, any issue with her contractors she simply blames them and makes excuses as to why they don’t complete work. Every single contractor made mistakes due to poor direction and no oversight from PM. Our pool alone had three PMs of which rarely showed to meet with contractor prior or during work which led to many of the issues. If you complain, she is immediately defensive, does not accept anything as the company’s responsibility, and get ready to deal with a horrible attitude. If you don’t like her response, she tells you, you are rude and send you the number of her contractors to figure it out on your own. I had trash, broken tiles, broken boards with nails sticking out in my yard for months; dangerous to my pets and children. We asked for this trash to be removed for months and when they finally decided to move it, they didn’t send enough people so our landscapers had to help them remove it. Contractors cut live electric wires and home security wires without the decency of a heads up. I had three different project managers that never oversaw the work of the contractors. Ten weeks went by before one job was complete which lead to the staining of my marble by the red clay because they would not clean sight until completion. Our job is 10 MONTHS in and is STILL not complete. We asked for the marble to be pressure washed and as expected it was not. A pipe busted and once my pool was filled it actually started leaking and of course was met with resistance and blamed our landscaping for it. Worst experience dealing with a company.

Don’t waste your time or money on this company. Pick anyone else in Georgia. At least if they make a mistake, they probably wont treat you like crap for requesting it to be fixed. Keep in mind we spent 117k to be treated this way and not have the pool we were promised.

If you are still reading… JOB is STILL NOT DONE… 10 months!

We could not be happier with Wendy and her team at BYOP! She was always very responsive when I left VM’s and answered any questions we had. Our experience from the dig to the landscaping contractors was great. I would highly recommend!!

Just fired Wendy! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

My husband and I just fired Wendy because she was so incompetent. She can care a less about your pool once she received her fee which you have to pay upfront. She doubles to triples or more all her bills. You are supposed to save money using her so called company with no risk to her using her subcontractors she does NOT supervise or even come to your home to check their work like she says she will or her website states.
Example: She charged us for a turbo slide $4200 that was online for $3200.00. She said we had to rush and order the slide at time of permit so we said ok. We trusted her and then once we got the slide that sat in our driveway for over a month and it was open I found it was the same slide I could of got online for $1000 less. She forgot to install our slide at time of concrete and now we have to Jerry rig it to work properly.
We have asked her constantly to come to our home to check work but she always has excuses and will not.
She used to work for National Pool Tile and I believe is in cahoots with the front order guy because the wrong coping was ordered and installed in my pool. It was from another supplier that was of less quality and yellow/gold but she insisted it was right.
I went into NPT and Beau told me the truth that they ordered from the wrong supplier and apologized and offered to replace my coping and decking but at this time my coping was already installed. They offered to upgrade my pebble tec and I accepted but Wendy flew off the handle and made all accusations at me and cussed me out. I can't even explain how terrible of a woman she is!!!!!! It's because she was caught in her web of lies!!
She tried telling me the upgrade they gave me was going to cost her $700 in installation but that's another lie!
WATCH YOUR BILL IF YOU USE HER! SHE WILL "Accidentally" charge you for things and once you catch it she will say oh sorry I didn't realize that. Candace must have done that I will refund you but never does.
Now that we fired her she has come up with a bogus bill and said if we don't pay it she will either put a lien on our house or contact my husbands job because he emailed from his work email.
The will take us a while to recover for this terrible terrible experience!! She's a con artist!!! I promise you that you will regret it if you use her!
