If there was an option for negative stars that is what I would select. This company is atrocious. My husband and I hired them to add a second story to our 1950’s built house. Work started in June of 2018 and within the first few weeks of the project there were major issues. The foreman they hired was fired which opened the flood gates. They dumped FOUR wheel barrows of clay brick into a foundation that should have only been rebar and cement and tried to cover it up. They incorrectly cut the stairs and Nicholas Fregoso (the “CEO”s dad) asked my 6’7” husband if he could get used to being unable to clear the landing on his incorrectly (and against code) cut stairs. They blew threw 35% of the budget and were unable to account for the funds where abouts, stopped coming to work for nearly three weeks. They demanded $15k for “cash flow” (which it is illegal in the state of California to demand funds for work not yet done) and then tried to issue new paperwork (not that they bothered to follow their own contract anyhow) which required for the rest of the project 80% cash for each phase up front. After two different attempts to speak and try to find a way to move forward (both of which were set up by us the homeowners- never by the business owner) they left us with no choice but to fire them. They did more damage then imaginable and as an added bonus they took our flooring, windows, doors, brand new recess lighting to Mexico which they admitted to.
They also offer military discounts- my story is one of a Veteran Marine who deployed and fought for our country. Our four young children are left without a home. Maybe instead of trying to lure heroes in with discounts they could focus on just doing their job and following their very own contract.http://jonathanfregoso.com

By Jose G.August 12, 2017Verified HireWhole House Remodel (Roofing/Electrical/Open-Concept Kitchen)
They created an open-concept kitchen with island. They listened to my detailed explanation and hired the right engineers to design and execute an 18' in-attic beam for the open-concept kitchen. They then hired kind and knowledgeable labor to execute the major remodel, roofing and electrical projects.
They worked with the city to pull permits too!
They also installed front windows, exterior/interior doors, closet doors, tank-less water heater, kitchen cabinets; PEX Re-pipe; arranged for bath tub re-glaze; plumbing work, electrical panel install and island install with embedded plugs and switches.
There were a few minor issues but they corrected them quickly!
THEY ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

By Lisa R.March 3, 2017Verified Hiregeneral contractors project Build a fire wall.
This was a commercial fire wall. They did a great job. It past inspection the first time after finishing. No touch ups needed. John and Ken were a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company for any of your construction needs. Fast, affordable knowledgeable, and will to work with you. Thank you John and Ken for doing such a great job.

I just read that this company offers a military discount....bahahaha. Please visit jonathanfregoso.com to see what kind of company this really is. I'm a veteran of the Marine Corps and this company has left my 4 children, my wife and myself without a house. What was supposed to be our dream two story addition has now turned into the biggest nightmare of our lives. The entire roof of our house has been removed and was left open for over 4 weeks before any kind of plans to replace it were designed. The flooring, the electrical (outlets and boxes), the brand new can lighting, doors, and windows have all been removed from the job site, and confirmed by the owners of the company, to be in Mexico. They removed all of their major tools on a Friday at 11:30 a.m. and on Sunday at 11:45 p.m. informed us they wouldn't be returning unless we gave them more money for "cash flow." They also demanded an 80% payment before work was done. They have stolen $57,500 and left us with a $10,325 bill at Ganahl lumber. All of the payments they asked for were by text message and included "materials." They skipped foundation work and started framing the second story to show "advancement of work" but even that has been done wrong. Please, please, whatever you do, stay away from this company.
