    Tony did an amazing job designing and building my home. The appraised value came in much higher than expected. Very happy with the results and would be happy to work with him and his team again.

    Build a home

    88 S. Piney Grove Rd My review about Tony Hirst is: I wish we never hired him to build our house. There were so many issues about some of the shotty work he did on our house. We had submitted a list of things that needed repair after our construction work was completed. We were told he had his own list of things that needed to be redone. We never saw his list and therefore, those things were never repaired. We have stress cracks that he repaired and the work wasn't done properly. We had plumbing issues that my husband had to fix because there was only a 1 year warranty on his work and now I know why. All the painting on the exterior trim wasn't done properly and is now fading. We have only been in our home for a little under 3 years. When they contractors left our home sight they left all sorts of garbage around the property and buried under a thin layer of dirt. Inside we have several issues that were never addressed. Walls not painted properly or, sanded properly. There was a strip of lament on our island that was damaged and we asked to have it replaced and never done. It was useless to keep contacting him or, his office because, it was constant ignoring of our complaints, I would never recommend him or, his company to build a persons home. There were a lot of extra charges added to the bill.

    It is very important for our customers to be satisfied with there homes, however, this is an unfair review and not accurate of what actually occurred. The home was a modular home. The manufacturer delayed and delayed project for 3 months. As a builder I had an uphill battle to overcome that problem because my customer was already aggravated due to the delay. The modular company went bankrupt and is no longer in business. The project had some issues and to my knowledge all were addressed. A final punch list was reviewed by homeowners and all were completed to there satisfaction and no complaints were made at that time or after until discovering this review on Buildzoom. It is industry standard that a home is warrantied for 1 yr which we do, if issues arise after that it is up to homeowner to deal with. We have gone back to homes that have had non cosmetic issues after warranty has expired depending on issue. The wall sanded issue was modular home supplier provided and never mentioned. I think the real issue is the customer got mad because they removed the "screening" from our scope and I credited them $1500 which my crew would have completed it for. The homeonwer got it done after we finished and someone overcharged them to the tune of around $4k+ is what they are really mad about. All the "extra charges" were asked for by them and approved prior to work. We are very sorry that they are unhappy but feel that we have done what we could to satisfy them Tony Hirst
