We are currently trying to get our money from this crook, he won't even return our phone calls , emails, etc. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IN my opinion he is a crook a thief and a scammer, as well as anyone he uses to build. Again, this is from my and my husband's experience with him. If he gets our money back and pays us for the damage that he has caused to the property,maybe we will feel differently, but NON of his work was to code and has to be replaced , we don't know what the final bill will be to fix what he has done, but early estimates look to be in the $5000 to $10,000., If I could rate him as a negative number I would. For you own sake, DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR ANYONE HE IS ASSOCIATED WITH< AGAIN< THIS IS MY OPINION FROM OUR EXPERIENCE WITH Mr. GREER

Jeffrey Greer, owner of Northwest Builders is the worst contractor I've EVER had the misfortune of meeting. He never submitted our house plans to the County but started construction anyway, giving us dramatic excuses over and over about why he isn't starting the project. After stalling for three months since the first payment, he never even finished the footings ( which don't meet code )and walked off the job when pressed for the whereabouts of a permit. Now he's incommunicado with our $30,000. I wouldn't trust this guy to build a birdhouse.

I can not recommend this builder at all. He took our money and then started building without a permit almost four months later, he kept blaming the county for holding up the permits, etc. We finally had to go to the county ourselves and found out that he had never obtained a permit. When confronted with this he quit and we have not seen or heard from him since. We now have to get the work he did redone ( not to code) and repair the damage he did to our septic clean out. We are also working to get our money back.( $30,000)If you value your home DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR ANYONE WHO WORKS WITH HIM.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Builders has worked on 6 permitted projects.
We are still waiting to hear from Mr. Greer. He has left with our money and has not contacted us, nor returned phone calls. Do not use this person for ANY of your jobs or ANYONE who works with him. Nothing to code, even though he kept insisting that " Everything has to be perfect" when asked about starting work without permits he insisted that the "County has the permits, but need to check on some things" We contacted the county (Linn) and they have never received any request for permits. Greer also said that " That's how we always do things" Really? Working illegally is how you do things?! do your self a favor and do not hire him nor any one he works with and tell your friends and associates. I don't want ANYONE to go through this hell"I would give him Negative Stars if I could.
