George from Builders Way was great to work with. He was communicative, very competitive on price, and the crew that he employed to do the work did an excellent job. Very satisifed!

George and his crew not only met our expectations, they exceeded them in every way! We never thought our dated kitchen could look as modern as it does now. George shared the potential after listening to what our desires were. He then sat down with us and showed us layouts of which we picked the plan we liked best. His consistent communication on updates, honest work ethics, and attention to detail made it possible to execute our kitchen remodel, all on budget and in a timely manner. He is going to be doing projects for us in the future. Thanks, George & crew. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. Norman.

George Sawyer was hired to repair a flood-damaged finished basement and install a kitchenette area (a project of more than $15,000). He was open and communicative at first. However, as time went on, attention to detail was lacking. A long punch list was compiled near the end of the project. Due to shipping delays, he had to return to complete other parts of the project, which was not what he had counted on. We ended the relationship while waiting on the delivery of additional cabinets. However, he insisted on full payment, even though the project was not complete. Upon hiring someone else to finish the cabinet installation, we discovered that his electrical work was not up to code. We hired electricians to fix the problems and bring the work up to code. (An additional higher-rated circuit and fix improperly installed outlets/wiring.) We've tried to contact Mr. Sawyer several times, who has not replied, for repayment of more than $900 for the electrical repair work. Because he refuses to respond and ignores the problem, we've made complaints to the Ohio Attorney General and his bonding company. This is unfortunate because Mr. Sawyer could have avoided these issues if he had subbed out the electrical work. One of his crew did a less-than-adequate job painting which required several redos. His drywall repair was adequate, but I would not hire him for other work.
