Dealing with Builtrite Pools was a very difficult. The entire pool installation was based on broken promises and poor workmanship. A crack was developed during installation back in August of 2018. We are now in April of 2019 and the crack remains un repaired. Again broken promises and lack of follow up. Stay away from Builtrite Pools. Lousy contractor

I would feel very bad giving one star to Idel Hernandez' BUILT RITE POOLS except for his already poor rating in the lower 30% of reviewed pool builders and the rating of one star by a previous reviewer here. That being said, I would warn you that Idel Hernandez does great work in the sales and presentation phase but that it is where it ends. he pushes hard to the point of intimidation to get draws released and in my case he had more than half the money for the whole job before the electrical and plumbing were even completed and inspected. He is able to do this with contracts that are very casually and loosely written to his advantage. As the project progressed and communication deteriorated, his answer to my questions became a very arrogant. "how many pools have YOU built?" The work itself, thank goodness, is adequate and left me with a pool that functions, mostly due to the electrical and plumbing contractors doing decent work. However, the final cement pour and forming looks so crude and rough, that my only recourse is most likely to demo and remove the pool deck and replace it. It is far too thick to accommodate any bullnose paver application and far too crude looking to enjoy as a modern style concrete deck, which is what I had asked for. Idelberto Hernandez is a contractor who follows only the rules and specs that he feels like following. San Juan Pools has very specific installation instructions requiring bracing and backfilling to specs that Mr. Hernandez ignored and the quality of his cosmetic work, like the deck pour and form is a real disappointment that I have to look at every day and will eventually pay to remediate. I cannot recommend his work.
