  AC Repair

  $7,000

  I had a ticket with First American Home Warrenty, which was escalated to "Emergency" status (wife has asthma, no a/c in Florida). Tech "Mike" came onsite and was great! System was completely shot, needed replaced. First American approved the replacement, but I would owe $1400 above my deductible. I asked for a breakdown of those costs, they suggested I call Burleson. I did, spoke to "Andy" (I believe the owner). Very shady on the phone, sounded like a car salesman. He mentioned $175 for a float switch, talked over me when I questioned that, ended up yelling at me, telling me he was going to refuse the job, that I would need to go another week without A/C and find another contractor, and HUNG UP!
  They then DID refuse the job!
  So here I sit, typing a review, while First American figures out where to go next.
  Run away from Burleson if you have a choice! Avoid at all costs!

  Do not recommend Burleson Air Conditioning. We bought a Rheem from them that was installed in Aug 2017. Shortly after that, Sept. 1st, on a Friday before a long holiday weekend, the outside unit stopped running. I called Burleson and they told me that the soonest they could get someone here to service this new machine was on the following Tuesday. It was too hot to wait so we had to call another company. They showed up an hour and a half later. Found the problem, a wire that had not been stored properly and had rubbed against the housing until it shorted out and brought the unit to a stop, fixed it within 15 minutes and charged me $97.00. Burleson was told about this but did not offer to repay the service call.

  Today the outside unit stopped working, again. Called Burleson and got an answering machine. Called the same local company. They had a guy here right away. This time he found that valve had not been set in the fully open position and over time all of the refrigerant had leaked out. His view was that being a new unit that it was a case of very poor installation. This time it cost me $504.00.

  I would never recommend Burleson to anyone. But do your research and see what other people think.

  Fix my air conditioner

  I asked a few people around the neighborhood which AC company that they have used that they liked, who showed up and got the job done. My next door neighbor said Burleson Services, she said the tech that came out when she needed freon was James and he was the sweetest, most knowledgeable young man, she told me her and her husband ask him tons of questions and he answered all of them efficiently. So I called them and spoke with Kristina and she was so kind, she set us up an appointment working around my husbands therapy, we had the most excellent service they fixed our AC and we had cool air back in just a couple days. I highly recommend them.

  To whom it may concern;
  I am praying that this contractor practicing unethical business will be stopped! This Company Burleson Services, Inc. which currently is renting a building on 118 N. 14th Street has vehicles that have been operating all over Florida (from Melbourne to Jacksonville) with expired tags since June 2013. They have at least five vehicles that I know of currently. The man who owns this company is knowingly writing bad checks all over town. He owes money to a gas station around the corner, Amscot (for bounced payroll checks) and supply houses. He has a long track record of firing employees and refusing to pay them their last paycheck. This does not include the dealerships that are looking for him and have reposed two trucks in the last month. The company is registered at a different address than where it resides currently. I have met former landlords who say this company owes them money for past rent. He owes back taxes to the IRS as well. How is it that a man that owns a business in our community is able to do our citizens so wrong and get away with it? And to make matters worse I know of at least 20 jobs he has done HVAC work on without a permit.
  All I am asking for is some Justice please! This man is nothing more than a monster to society and he needs to be stopped.
