Final work was marginal work and did not receive the details expected. Wanted a concrete ramp for disabled access, ramp was built but left a 5 inch step at the front door. It was to be level. Very poor wiring plan and correction was to plate boxes and converted some electrical heater from 220 to 110 reducing energy efficiency. Did build wall in laundry room correctly and the correction was to build an access in the garage. Did not properly consult with the electric company and internet company to install required items. 4 doors have problems. Front door lets in outdoor air and the dix was chiseled work and caulk but it did not work, 1 doors was ordered wrong and not replaced causing wiring issues, 1 bathroom door would not latch and had to get rehung by someone else, 1 door has no catch and will not stay open. Electric heat was installed poorly. Thermostat placement was not in accordance to specifications and some place under the heater. Heater placement is not in accordance to the specs on the heaters which limited use of a room. Screws holding the heaters were not all placed into studs, this causes the heaters to make a knocking noise and some of the heaters have to be removed and remounted. Switch placement is poor with poor access points and one ceiling fan was tied to other lights and would only work if the light remained on, had to be rewired. They put in plastic piping for electrical and internet in the garage wall that did not comply with servicing companies and left it fully open in the wall to include an opening in the external wall where mice and insects could enter the home. Drywall had to be removed to seal holes. Drywall screws are being exposed through the paint. the drywall was not screwed tight to the walls in areas and where fixtures and anything is mounted to the wall the screws push out. They said they fixed it but it looks like they just put on more joint compound and painted over and the screws are popping out again. Durring the initial meeting it was explained that the siding was to be solid and not need to be painted, flimsy vinyl siding was not to be installed but that is what they put up. When confronted the conversations were denied and they would not correct some things and wanted more money for the poor work and for things they did not get oked. Would not recommend this contractor. To get the home I wanted it will cost me over 100,000 to remodel. Even many thing that are acceptable are done will poor quality products.
