By Penelope E.March 24, 2021Install power pole$3,400
Not responsible if you are starting service from the pole. We hired him on Dec 30, 2020, to begin our project. We are not even having buildings wired and as of today March 24,2021 I am still relying on a generator to run power to my RV.
We did finally get an inspector out here but because of violations, we could not have the power switched on. Shane came out the next day (Tuesday)and stated he took care of all 7 things that were on the list and that the inspector Mark would be back out and we would have power by Friday. March 19. Obviously, this didn't happen.
What makes this even worse is that I live in the country and require electricity to operate our well. I am a nurse and need to go to work. I had put off looking for employment until I thought we were closer to the completion of the project. Believing the promise that everything was accomplished when I paid the final amount due the first week of February. Now, I am scheduled to begin work this Friday and still have no idea when to expect to have a reliable source of water to shower in at my place. This experience has taught me to do further research when hiring anyone for big projects and get referrals.

By David P.November 2, 2020Construction electrical pole set up$1,800
Communication was terrible. I thought I could trust him and paid him up front and he never finished the work. For 3 months he said he filed a permit for inspection and never did. For another 3 months he blamed state inspectors for not doing the inspection when in fact he never scheduled an inspection. 6 months later we still don’t have electricity ! Worst experience ever! I’ll be sure to let everyone know about this!

Warning: Avoid this electrician. Hired Shane Burton owner of Burton Electric , Alamogordo and it was an awful experience. He never completed the job, did horrible, unsafe work, left wires improperly connected and created a hazard. Please don’t risk hiring him—he does not follow through, and the quality of his work is unacceptable. Clearly does not take pride in his work. Very unsafe and unprofessional—would not recommend!
