Bush Roofing

We can't say enough about Mike and his team! Back in 2011, we had our roof begin leaking in 2 completely different spots, both fell through within a day of each other. One spot was right over our daughter's bed, in her room! It was such a mess. We couldn't get our insurance to cover it, despite it happening right after a week of continual rain. We had cedar shingles and they never put any plywood underneath. So, now we were going to have to add that, as well. We were tight on money and even our neighbor (who worked for a roofing company and said he could give us a great deal), gave us a bid that was way over our budget. We were so discouraged. Then we found Mike. He worked with us on the pricing and even let us remove the old shingles ourselves, to further reduce the total price. His bid was probably lower than it should have been. He took really good care of us. The men who worked on the roof were quick, polite, and efficient. Only a few months later, a huge wind storm blew through Davis County, and we had 2 sixty foot pines blow over and a lot of damage to our yard, but we didn't lose one shingle. Just about everyone we knew, had to replace their shingles. We didn't.
Fast forward to 2018, when we had a hail storm. We didn't even think of having our roof checked. The following summer, we had a door to door "roofer" come and tell us that we could get our roof replaced for free, if it was damaged. Before I knew it, he was on the phone with my insurance company and setting up a time to have an agent come and do an inspection. I didn't feel good about working with this guy, because he seemed a little sketchy. But we knew we now had to get our roof replaced, since the agent did find damage and we were sent funding. We had until this July to have it replaced. We had a company come give us a bid, but it was way over the amount our insurance agency would allow. We worried a lot. I couldn't remember the name of the company that had done our roofing before. Then one day, I remembered and looked up Mike Bush. Gave him a call and set up a time. His estimate was much lower than the other one we had. And we knew he was dependable and honest. We told him we needed to hurry and get the roof on in a week. He had his team out and the roof was done in a couple days time. It took another day for the rain gutters and down spouts. And, if this doesn't tell you about how great Mike is, the EXACT same guys who replaced our roof back in 2011, replaced it this time. They have stuck with him this whole time. What a relief it is to have the roof (which still looked great, btw) finally replaced! And what a blessing to have someone local who is honest, reliable, and cares about others. We will be recommending Mike to everyone we know (now that I finally remembered his name again). Thanks, Mike! You and your team are awesome!
