I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! DO NOT TRUST SOMEONE WHO TELLS YOU ALL HIS WORK IS PERFECT!! He was contracted to build a addition on to our newly custom home, 3 years old. After several weeks of constant asking when the project would start, he finally started. The day he cut into our roof, I told him it was going to rain on Saturday and Sunday, he said, no I checked the weather. Every time I would say something to him, or ask him a question, it seemed to me that he did not like talking to a female. Saturday morning about 5:30AM it started to rain and rain hard, I went into our dining room, and water was pouring in and down our walls. I got my husband and son out of bed to get some kind of material to try and stop the rain. Once we called him, he wanted to blow it off, telling me, oh that's an easy fix- was he kidding me!! I had to stay after him for a few weeks on the roof- I need it to be ON, and SHINGLED! Finally after staying on him, he contracted that out.
After that we discussed the 11 windows and 2. doors- gave him the money for them. I asked every day for over two weeks when would the door and windows be in, all he would say they are on order. I finally got tired of all the run around, I went to the place where he said he placed the order. The guy told me he came in to check on how much they were, then left, did not place the order. The guy at the store told me he came in two days ago and placed the order. When he was confronted on the situation, well he could not talk his way out go that lie. At this point, I was done with all the lies. Now lets talk about the concrete work- IT IS A MESS!! The concrete is rough, and has a crack from one end to the other. I am having that repaired!
Once the windows arrive, NO DOORS- when he left the place where he ordered them, they were all checked out, and perfect condition, this is from the manager who had Busko to check and sign off on them. By the time he got to my house ( less than a 10 minute drive), three had torn screens and a broken window. I do know they are going to be replaced, because the store manager told me that he came in and said he had bad product. But as of today, 7/8/2020, I have not seen them. He brought the doors a couple of days later, after a week or so, got all of the up- Then I started asking about the brick. He gave me. story of this guy Phil was behind and had 6 more jobs. I told him he needed to get another contractor. Then all of a sudden, he was able to get Phil to get his guys to come and start on a Monday. They came, here is where is goes bad AGAIN!! Those guys left trash in my yard, left unpeeled bananas, oranges, open food, sandwich's my trash can with no trash bag. I had to carry a bag around back for them to pick up their trash, but they did not. That Saturday I was getting all the trash together that is when I noticed there were gnats all around the trash- then I made the mistake of opening the lid!!! I was furious!!! They had slung the mortar all over my back yard, took over 3 days to get all of it up and out of my grass. I have pictures of all that happen. Later that day, it started to storm, there was water running all inside my inclosed room. pictures were taken and sent to him. He has not responded to the text.
At the beginning of this add-on he also cut my gutters, he cut them where they can not be placed back up, so we will need to hire someone to put new ones up.
There are so many things I have learned from this- I asked Vasiliy in the beginning was he licensed-Bonded- did he have Insurance - he said Oh YES, HMO's love him and he does lots of work for them, we'll THAT A LIE
