I paid $1,500 for a water tank that cost $500 to be installed. Bytor came to my house, dumped handfuls of sediment in my sup pump pit causing it to freeze up and smoke. The contractor made a water mess everywhere and didn’t clean up a single thing. I called to complain and the regional director of Bytor (Frank Folio) threatened me with physical violence and told me to go get a lawyer. Lowe’s claims no responsibility of any kind. They installed a hot water tank. The tank was dented, and a month later still no pressure relief valve drain pipe. They are also extremely hard to contact. Very poor service. They were the company Lowes used.

The installation of 2 marble countertop was measured and installed by BY-TOR.
None of the pieces fit right, but the installer used caulk to hold it together and damaged the trim when he chopped off a piece and made no effort to repair it. Both countertops have different hangover. Edges are not finished. It is a mess!
I have asked them repeatedly to return them to Lowes so I can get my money back. Lowes has made no effort to resolve this and neither has BY-TOR. Today I had an appointment to remove the countertops. It is 4:19 and so far no call and no show. My next step is going to be Small Claims I will be sure and share my experience on social media. The paperwork that I received said Satisfaction Guaranteed. They will give you a runaround like you have never seen. Do yourself a favor and avoid installation that Lowes arranges. -

I had 3 Doors installed by By Tor and they did shoddy work. There is missing caulk, they beat up and gouged the door frames, I have some issues with rubbing on the doors. My contract said the outsides we're supposed to be wrapped and they were not. There was some wood wrapped on the bottom that was all beat up. There was kick plates put on and they have gaps behind them.By Tor was contracted through Lowes I would not recommend them to anyone.

I Just had a terrible experience with By-Tor Contracting inc. They represented Lowe's.
They damaged the new door they were installing, caulked the hole and mentioned something about a new slab,
The order said remove doorbell. It was removed. They even played with the wires.
When I went to ask them where the wires were, all I got back was they were in the wall. And the don't fix that.
I can't believe they didn't ask me before they buried the wires
They took off without any notice, and, I don't even have documentation of what they intend to do. AVOID them.
I am a disabled veteran, and this just fuels depression.VERY DISSAPOINTED

Installed a storm door two months ago. The installer tore all the metal trim off from around the top and sides of my door while installing it. He claimed to have more of that trim in that particular color but not with him. I never asked him to tear this off. He had it balled up and ruined on the ground. I have contacted him repeatedly for two months to fix this. He said "I got material in my truck. I've just not been able to get back...will get resolved just be patient I'm sorry."
Well, promises, promises and my husband and I are the ones who are stuck with this less than adequate work! I would not recommend them to anyone.
