Bynum Brothers replaced our old roof but failed to do so correctly. The plywood decking, which they improperly installed, has warped, causing the roof shingles to pull away from the decking. This is clearly visible from the outside of our home. From our attic, we can see that whomever installed the plywood did not nail the edge of the plywood to the truss, and these are the areas that have warped. In some instances, there are gaps between the pieces of plywood where we can see the back of the roof shingles. Approximately one year after installation, I telephoned Bynum Brothers after seeing the first evidence of warping in one particular area and was told that the warping is a common old house issue. Aside from this, their work was sloppy enough to damage our property. They removed a tarp from the roof of a new porch that we added a few years earlier, and instead used it to dump debris from the old roof on to it.
