My old water heater needed to be replaced. I live in an apartment so the maintenance attempted to fix it. But after dealing with a gas leak, that made it 3. A new water heater had to be installed as the one I had was over 9 years old. The technician that came out seemed to be pleasant and competent. The technician seemed to be rushed to install a new water heater. He installed the water heater so close to my furnace that it was next to the refrigerant line. Not to mention crooked. A week after the installation I smelled natural gas. This made it the 4th gas leak in this apartment within a short amount of time. Not only was the water heater installed incorrectly but also crooked. I would also like to point out that this company DID NOT even obtain a permit until after the installation which is illegal but obviously they got away with it. So just knowing a permit was obtained, I would not trust this company to do any type or work unless your willing to battle a gas leak and potentially die.
