    Gilbert construction put in new steps in 2014. We were very pleased. He was prompt and did very good job.

    Stamping our concrete patio

    This was our experience using Gilbert construction for our patio project. DELAY DELAY DELAY. Dates missed, unanswered phone calls, did not follow through with what was told, poor comunication on pricing and getting the work done. When questioning anything we were answered back by an angry quick tempered man. Very unprofessional in serving his customer. He has left us with a question mark regarding his honesty and integrity. To be fair, when the job was finally finished we were pleased with his work. However, taking the other things into consideration we would not recommend him to anyone. The headache of dealing with him completely overshadowed the final outcome.

    Chris rebuilt our deck and did a high quality job. All the joint work and end caps were excellent. 2 years later and our deck is still wonderful looking.
    I recall Chris having to work in the rain and dodge thunderstorms. He showed up when he said he would. Very reliable and we'd use him again for any woodworking project.
