Bad experience from the start.
Salesman showed up at the door and said they were doing work down the block (first lie) and that there had been hail damage in the area. Would it be ok to look at the roof. I said sure. He sent up a drone,
After he knocked again on the door and told me there was extensive hail damage.
He would like to talk to the insurance carrier for the home and i needed to sign a document for him to do so. (Second Lie) SO on the driveway i signed. Did not get a copy...
BAD IDEA.
Our insurance is through State Farm and we did a joint call.
State Farm called back to schedule a time to come out. Scheduled it.
Then the salesman called state farm and canceled the appointment because it didn't fit his schedule. No communication with the home owner..just canceled it. I stayed home for the meeting..which didnt take place.
I called Statefarm and asked why the inspector didn't show up ...and was told the contractor canceled it and rescheduled it. Now aside from the fact i didn't authorize this it was not even rescheduled with my time or with me even in mind.
I called the contractor. Told him i was not doing business with someone like this. He said i signed a document blah blah blah. Requirements..blah blah blah. Department of Insurance and lawsuit here we come. These people take advantage of homeowners.
I have called the office number which goes to a voice mail. When resolved i will update this review.
