  Water heater, sewage back up, leaking gas pipe replacement, faucet replacement, leaking interior wat

  Chad has been nothing but amazing right from the start. Excellent communication all around. He has always been extremely punctual with not only returning my calls to schedule unexpected services but was also extremely kind and understanding when I had to cancel last minute due to an emergency with a family pet. About 2 years ago my water heater suddenly started bulging at the metal seam and was also very corroded/rusted in said seam. I mistakenly consulted Google about it and then became terrified that my water heater was going to randomly explode from a malfunctioning pressure release issue so I immediately contacted Chad and sent him pictures of my concern. He reassured me that it was very unlikely to happen and the bulge and corrosion were likely caused by excess water that I had confirmed had been consistently flooding/leaking in the basement throughout previous years . He was able to replace the water heater within that same week for me-which I was very thankful for. He also went above and beyond in May of this year when he came over the same morning that I had called about water and toilet paper backing up the drain and onto the floor of the basement when my clothes washer was running. He came out within a few hours, as he was finishing up a previous service appointment when I called. He ended up having to (auger?) tree roots that had grown into and blocked some essential sewage piping. Basically anytime I used a utility that involved water draining, it caused the house sewage/waste to back up into the basement. He also replaced a gas pipe connection immediately after clearing out the tree roots. The gas piping had been temporarily fixed(sealed) by WPS the week prior because I made an emergency call with concerns that I was smelling gas in the basement and the through the vents when the air would kick on. One location of piping had in fact been leaking natural gas into the house. Chad has also had his employees replace a broken bathroom faucet in “my” bathroom at my boyfriend’s house. (Last winter I believe, 2023) The gentleman was very courteous and friendly even after Chad had sent him back a second time to replace the faucet with a different style for the one he had just installed. I didn’t like the first one but had to leave the house to pick my child up from school prior to seeing the first replacement so I wasn’t able to approve or request another one prior to the first installation. I was honestly even annoyed with myself for not checking that first, so I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that he was so laid back and forgiving about it. An intern? working for Chad also made an immediate courtesy stop at my house in March of this year when I called (as Chad was out of town) to assess the meter connected from the city to my house in the basement that was actively leaking water. He communicated to Chad on the phone what the problem was and Chad went out of his way to call the city for me as soon as he hung up with his intern to have someone come out and replace the meter. Within 30 minutes, someone from the city arrived and replaced the leaking meter with both myself and the intern present. I’m almost positive Chad was on vacation when he sent and communicated with his intern about the issue as well as calling the city. That is honestly going way above and beyond in my books. I will absolutely suggest Chad and C Sweeting anytime someone mentions plumbing needs. Hands down.

  I have had C Sweeting Plumbing for a few problems I’ve had in my house. I can not say enough how great they are. They are always there for me when I need their help and solve the issue quickly. There staff couldn’t be nicer to work with. I have recommended them to many of my friends and they are also very happy with them.

  Replace hot water heater

  Found out our water heater quit in the middle of the night ☹️ I call them in late morning and they luckily had a bit of availability to check it out same day. Had diagnosed the problem quickly and discussed the options with us. We elected to go with a bigger hot water heater. He didn’t have the bigger model we wanted but went out of his way to go get us one! SAME DAY! About an hour later job was completed. They totally saved our asses. No mess left behind either! Great crew. Very nice. They were very willing to wear masks in our house too which made us more at ease. If I’m ever in need of plumbing services again I’m calling them.

  Sump pump and outside faucet installation

  They installed PVC for my sump p7mp to avoid using the. Or all accordion black hoses that keep leaking. As usual they did a fantastic job. They have installed sump pumps and also cleared a sewer log for us.

  I highly recommend them and they come out almost immediately.

  Chad and his staff are excellent!! I have used him several times for personal and business plumbing issues and he has fixed every problem. He is honest and a great communicator, offering options for solving the issue. Chad has gone above and beyond and given us great recommendations on contractors in different occupations.

  Horrible plumber! Never there never a call costed our business much money due to the time it took for him. He will come and work for 10 mins then leave. I ended up having to call someone else!

  Can not be trusted. Broke his promise of a time frame multiple times. Never showed up to do a scheduled job, never called back. A few months later sent us an enourmous bill for a work that was supposed to be a part of an abandoned project. The leaking faucet (installed by his employee) ruined my brand new kitchen cabinet.

  C Sweeting Plumbing is down right awful! He gave this huge speech on how good he is and why we should go with him then did a horrible job!
  - He decided after he started that he needed the money before completing the job even though that was never discussed then after that it was like pulling teeth to get him to come back and finish what was in the bid.
  - He gave us a used toilet(even though a new one was paid for) that ran and even we brought the issue up he never fixed it until 8 months later when we asked him to AT LEAST fix the run while he was already over to fix another one of his mistakes.
  - And our brand new water heater that he installed has leaked all over our floors TWICE! Both times he was called to come fix. We don't have a basement because we are across the street from the lake so it has ruined our floors.

  I really don't have anything good to say besides when we first met him he was really nice but then after he was hired he was a totally different person. He is welcome to prove me wrong anytime now since we are still dealing with him on a project that was completed almost a year ago.

  C Sweeting Plumbing LLC are fantastic! They always get the job done in a professional manner. I am coninually impressed by their quick response, precise estimates, and ability to complete a job on time. They have always responded to my "emergency" situations and are greatly appreciated. They are truly the ONLY plumber I will use.
