I was a former employee of this company, and can personally and honestly testify that the estimates given by the owner Bruce are extremely high and border on ridiculous. On roofing jobs, there was zero concern for his employees, as no safety gear or harnesses or scaffoling were provided to the laborers. I first hand, saw how corners were cut, to save on materials and take advantage of customers and consumers who weren't educated in the estimates and cost. Be warned and be aware when dealing with Verblauuw and Sons, or they will take advantage. There are MUCH better, more skilled, better equipped, and most importantly honest contractors out there, please do your research before contacting them.
