C&z Home Improvement

My wife and I own our own home, as well as six rental properties. We have extensive experience working with contractors and sub-contractors. In our view, C&Z is among the best when it comes to general carpentry, roofing and siding. The company owner, Edgar Castro, is a straight shooting individual. We wanted to add a deck and a screen porch/sun room to our property. He gave us a written estimate and contract, with a very fair price. He was punctual and his crew was very professional. They did great work and cleaned up when they were done. Edgar would always tell us in advance when they would be arriving for work, and on the rare occasion when he needed to change the plan, he would let me know with as much advance warning as possible. We worked together throughout the project to continue refining the design. He proved knowledgeable about our choices of materials, and had many very good suggestions for how to improve the final product. He was regularly on the site, directing when the crew was large, and doing finish work when it was just him and one other helper. I would highly recommend C&Z to anyone doing home improvement. They are professional, fair, hard working, skilled and courteous.
