Mark went to my house on a cloudy day in October even when he wasn't sure if the solar pump that I have needed sunlight or not. Upon arrival he realized that the solar pump needed sunlight to run properly and was trying to charge me $100 for his time even though he could not give me any information about what the issue was. He then agreed to replace the pump and perform a verification check to make sure the system was good to go. After 5 days no work was done and he then texted me saying he would not do the work. This delay set me back hundreds of dollars in repairs and validated my suspicions of Mark's inability to carry out the quoted work. In my experience Mark was nothing but unprofessional and seemed to be taking advantage of the situation in which I was not around my household due to my obligations of serving in the US Navy. I highly recommend finding another company to accomplish your work. It will save you time, money and a headache.

I agree with the guy above. Mark is not helpful. He's rude and passive aggressive. He resents having to explain things or answer any questions.
My solar hot water system was installed by Mark, and he got it done, but he failed to drop cloth the area, and I incurred some damage. This definitely should have been done! I didn't know this, and he should have known.
I've had so many problems, meaning days with no hot water, that I finally called Island Solar after I had called Mark for help. He had no answers and never called me back. So I gave up, and called around for another company that actually took pride in customer service.
Two guys from Island Solar came out the next day and had to replace the pump which had burned out because the settings were wrong. In less than one hour they fixed and reset everything and for the first time in over a year, I have hot water and a functioning system.
I do not recommend this company.
