Redoing the finish of my log cabin as the work done by Cabin doctor was not done right. The logs were blasted but not sanded, stain was applied but looked poor when done and did not last at all. The simplest things like scraping old drips of stain off before refinishing they claimed could not be done but only took a few minutes with a scraper when I did it. Doing the work myself and it is coming out like I envisioned they would do but didn't. Charged a fortune but did a poor got and rushed to finish with not attention to quality. Would not use them again.
Response from Cabin Doctor LLC August 16, 2020I don't know who this complaint came from, but we pride ourselves on making sure our customers are 100% satisfied. Had this individual came to us I'm sure we could have worked through the issue.

Scott worked on my log home in 2012. There were two spots on our home that required log replacement. The front by our front door worked out perfectly and has not been a problem. However, the back corner of the house the logs were too big. Scott told the installer to go ahead and use them. They couldn't have been more than a sixteenth of an inch too high. But it was a big mistake using them. Now they have been splitting the other logs adjacent to the new logs and it is possible I made need the whole back wall replaced. I wish I could show you the pictures.
Now it is 2025 and I can't seem to contact anyone at Cabin Doctor LLC. I still have my original invoice paid in full. I would like them to contact me so we can speak about fixing the logs before the whole back wall and side wall need new logs.
PLEASE SCOTT get in touch with me at [email protected]
I will send you all the pictures and we can go from there.
