Fred's crew had to disassemble part of a large deck, jack it up and remove dry rotted boards. They did an excellent job and completed the job ahead of schedule. Fred made sure several times that they understood the job and that I was happy with the results. The best contractor I've ever worked with.

Incompetent at all aspects of the work. Forced to fille a complaint with the Registrar and Fred still failed to comply. Its taken over a year to get anything done, but he only fits you in between other work he has going. I have to have another contractor redo his work so I can get a CO for my home. Dodge this bomb! The work is subpar, check out his other complaints with the Registrar and don’t hire this wannabe. He couldn’t hang a door, paint a wall or drywall without a ton of mistakes and even more excuses. Every day was an excuse for his inability. Lies one after another about everything!
Fred has failed miserably, can’t build to plan, can’t pass an inspection....and he disappears! Even with everything in writing on paper in black and white Fred still couldn’t follow a simple plan. Save yourself the headache, his references lie for him as he uses his friends not clients which was clear after his work was so shoddy. The Registrar ruled in my favor, but I’m back to square one in all these delays in finding a new contractor to fix what he ruined. The two I’ve spoken with to do repairs have fixed his work after other unhappy clients of this Cactus Pine Builders mess. Fred hires off the reservation homeless people, drops them off at the job and picks them up a few hours later, and doesn’t check the work they do. Thank God I demanded a permit as he built nothing to code, and just didn’t care. Beware and Steer Clear of this Incompetent so-called Contractor. He will cause you more issues than you can imagine.
