We signed a contract for $ 33147 including materials and labor , on 9/20/22 for repainting the first floor, install hard wood floors in the living room , dining room-and foyer, install ceiling lights and replace the front door. We paid $ 22,410 as advance through Bank transfer and Zelle. After that he disappeared. After constant phone calls he sent a team of 3 persons who painted the first floor. That;'s it. After that he did nothing . We have called him constantly and he never picks up the phone. So we have sued him to recover the entire amount that we have paid him so far. He never keeps up his word. He's a terrible contractor and a total cheat. It's unfortunate that BUILD ZOOM recommended him and hope that you too share some responsibility and intervene to force him to reimburse us. You should never recommend him to anyone else. But for your company we would have never hired him. It is already 17 months since we have signed a contract with him and nothing has been done so far except for the partial repainting.He never talks over the phone or shows up in person. please help us to recover our hard earned money. We have documentary proof for everything.

Carl Mason the owner of this fake company took over $10,000 of my money as a deposit and left town. He is now working in Austin Texas under Cain Construction Management. Watch out people.

My work hasn’t been done yet due to unforeseen events. I’m concerned right now of the lack of communication.

My job was a simple foundation job. I was impressed with Hector the PM and based on my meeting with him entered into a contract and established a start date. They also demanded a 50 percent deposit. Cain never showed up and has refused to refund me my deposit. Do NOT do business with this company. The best I can tell scamming customer is their business model. And finally Build Zoom needs to do a better job screening contractors as this whole situation would not have happened but for their marketing of this Scam of a company.

He's not worthy of trust. I would never deal with him again. He got money from me and had no intentions on completing the work. The only thing that saved me was his sub-contractor came to my rescue.

I sent him a text that said: Be not deceived, God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I gave him a check for a few dollars shy of $3,000.00. He only gave the contractor $600.00 from that money. I paid the sub contractor for the work he did.
