  I had the best experience with Omar and his crew. They were able to fit a complicated tongue and groove wood floor installment into their schedule on short notice and thus saved me a lot of headache. They were punctual, friendly and finished in time. They cleaned up after themselves and left nothing but two rooms with beautiful wood floors. When mid job it turned out that the baseboards my contractor had bought were too thin, Omar went out and got baseboards that fit. He delivered them himself to make sure the job could be finished on time. He really went out of his way! Super service, super job. And I had doubts about hiring him because of one review below. Omar showed me how many jobs he's done and how many of his costumer were happy with his work. Don't trust one bad review. Omar and his crew rock!

  Carpeting

  Omar and his team were able to fit us in quickly, take out and hall away old carpet and were even kind enough to take carpet we wanted gone that they were not replacing. His crew was professional, clean, and worked hard to carpet 3 large bedrooms, hallways, stairs and closets. We hired based off a recommendation from RAYO wholesale flooring where Omar's team went and picked up the carpet for us even. I'd recommend for quick quality work; even more affordable and quicker than our Lowe's and Homedepot quotes.

  Omar and his crew spent 6 days at our house in October of 2020. They did an amazing job installing Porcelain wood plank, 8 x 48 inch tiles, in 4 rooms for a total of 900 square feet. Demolition went smoothly taking out previous wood flooring 2 rooms and carpeting in 2. Kitchen cabinets were protected by plastic sheeting. Base molding was matched to existing kitchen color and painted white in the other 3 rooms. Omar was recommended by Andrew at the Lakeside RAYO store. I based hiring him on Andrew's recommendation after reading some of these reviews. My husband and I are glad we did. In this time of COVID we felt safe because his crew wore masks and practiced social distancing with us. I highly recommend Cal Coast Carpets for jobs. He was honest with us, explaining the circumstances of his bad reviews.

  Change floor after flood.

  The most horrible experience. Never have business with this company! Stay away! Save your money, time and calmness avoid this company. My husband allowed them to install wood floor. After 3 weeks floor starts to stand up. The debates took two weeks to prove that they did wrong installation. They have zero idea how to install floor. Their license should be taken away and I will do everything to make that happens.

  Bathroom floor

  Cal Coast Carpets sent out an inexperienced tiler to tile my small bathroom after a water leak. The tile was crooked and baseboard didn't sit right, but they left thinking the job was done. After I checked, they sent another guy out to tear up the floor and redo parts. Still not done correctly. Same guy was sent out again to retile with leveling spacers. Again, not done correctly. So a different guy was sent out yesterday. STILL NOT DONE CORRECTLY! Do not use this company to do your tile. The workers do not have the skill or integrity for doing the job right.
