DO NOT HIRE – Unfinished Work, No Communication, and $5,000 Deposit Taken
We hired Luciano (the owner of this electrical contracting business) as part of a permitted construction project. He provided a bid, accepted a $5,000 deposit, and began partial work on the electrical rough-in. However, he stopped communicating completely and has been unreachable for over six weeks, despite numerous attempts to contact him.
He is now the only subcontractor who has not completed work, holding up the entire project, including the siding, roofing, mechanical inspections, and installation of windows and doors. Every other contractor and vendor on the permit has finished their portion of the work. We are now unable to move forward or pass inspections due to his abandonment of the job.
To confirm he was avoiding us, we even called from a different phone number. He answered, and once he realized who was calling, his only response was “oh yeah,” followed by a vague promise to come out "this week." That was weeks ago—no follow-up, no appearance, and no explanation.
We are in the process of pursuing legal action against Luciano and his company. This review is intended to warn others:
He takes deposits.
He does not complete the work.
He disappears without notice or communication.
We strongly recommend avoiding this contractor to protect your time, money, and your project. We will remove this review if he comes and completes the work he was hired for and paid for or we will be pursuing legal action.
