Founder and CEO Raul Ramirez was inspired to enter the soft-story retrofitting industry after a visit to a Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC) event where he learned about all the complex regulations around the soft-story retrofit program. With his experience in renewable energy and construction, he wanted to build a company and team to help others understand the new mandatory retrofit programs and keep California safe and secure.

    Fair review (not a bad review)

    1. ADU Project was promised to be done in 6 months, it got delayed (COVID & 10 other excuses they can come up with) and eventually never finished. See pictures- this is what they finished in 8 months.
    2. Left project unfinished with partial floors, unfinished kitchen & bath, cracking stucco, missing roof , open trench and trash all over the place (see pictures)
    3. There are weeks when no crew would showed up and I received no communication from company.
    4. After collecting deposit, owner Raul visited the project once (to collect $$$) , project manager Anthony Visited 4-5 times over span of 8 months.
    5. Raul (owner) and Anthony (project manager) Will not return numerous phone calls or text messages, but they will be calling you when Payment is due and ask for money ahead of schedule.
    6. Contract had to be terminated for failure to perform.

    I highly Recommend this company,
    IF YOU want your ADU or construction project NOT be completed, or to go over budget , or if prefer contractors who don’t show up, make broken promises and don’t answer your calls/text.
