We hired Erik Campbell to remodel of our master bathroom in 2017. Throughout the project, decisions were made without my consent. The timeline of completion passed the agreed upon date. We purchased more tile based on Erik recommendation and then he charged us a change order. He never explained to us that it would cost us more. We did not even need the extra tile. The list could go on. WORSE Part - please heed this warning - it is now 2020 and I am still chasing Erik to get the bathroom inspected and close the permit with the city. He gives me vague responses, does not follow through and has created more work for me than I ever anticipated. I simply want to move on with my life and cannot because he will not do his job and close the permit. He was already paid in full in 2017, my biggest mistake, and now I am stuck with an unfinished project. I would not recommend him or his company to anyone. Please do not follow my foot steps and end up in the same situation. Any reputable professional would not put their clients through this unnecessary process. More than 3 years still with no resolution.

Do not use this man or his company under any circumstances. He ran off to south Florida to work on other projects while ours sat unfinished for months. Even the parts he had done were wrong. For example, the drawers in the kitchen wouldn’t open because they hit the moulding on the face of the sink. His answer was to just not use the drawer (seriously?!?). He missed every deadline and charged us extra for everything. He told us the plumber required more money because he had to do extra work. Same for the electrician. After I fired Erik and we finished the job we found out from all of the subs that none of the extra money we paid him went to the subs. One sub filed a lien, but was nice enough to remove it when we showed him we had paid Erik. The project was a complete disaster and most of what he had done had to be redone.
