    Landscaping for front and backyard
    $25,000

Terrible business. Originally hired him to install sprinklers and a fire-pit back in March of 2022. Dylan realized the sprinkler system and the fire-pit was more of a challenge than he expected and decided to work on other projects I didn't ask for but insisted I needed to pay for. After apologizing he completed the work he added as well as 75% of the job I originally hired him for before ghosting me until September of 2022 without finishing the fire-pit at all. Each time I would ask him about it he would make excuses or say the gas guy was going to be calling me soon to schedule it. In September he apologized again and said he was going through stuff and was going to get on it. He then proceeded to try and charge me extra to finish the sprinklers and after going back and forth yet again added more more to compensate for the hire price. Dylan then finally contacted the gas guy and then decided he no longer wanted to pay the guy he hired to finish the fire-pit and said that instead I was supposed to. After multiple months of going back and forth of the same issue and Dylan still not finishing the job. He asked for the rest of the money which I refused due to the job not being completed. Dylan became combative and threatened me and my wife over the phone before ghosting us all together. Do not use this company he is terrible and does not have good customer service or stand by his products. The retaining wall he put in he did not glue down. He never finished the fire-pit, the lighting system or the sprinkler system or fixed the mistakes his employees made when working on our property. Some of the blocks he installed have chips. He picks and chooses what he does and doesn't want to complete and when he does complete stuff he doesn't listen to the customer and does things the way he likes it instead of what is asked. His company couldn't even pour a slab of concrete correctly and had to ask for materials as they didn't not bring everything with them. He left a broken vehicle in front of my house for a day and the lost goes on and on. I could talk about how terrible of and experience I had with this company for hours. The point is stay far away.

    Build a retaining wall
    $8,500

Stay far away from Campbells Excavating. Dylan is extremely unprofessional, combative and cannot show up on time to anything. He has no integrity behind his word. He does not supervise his workers or give them clear instructions. We found several mistakes in the retaining wall we asked him to build. The poor workmanship consisted of chipped blocks, no back filling, uneven or gaps in the capstones. Several of the capstones were loose and not even glued down. He left a huge oil stain on our driveway. When we asked Dylan to correct some of these visible problems, he told us we were nit picky and ridiculous. It took two different occasions for him to correct the problems with the damaged blocks and capstones. We were disrespected and harassed by text and phone calls asking for the rest of his money. We refused to pay the balance until the work was corrected. He wanted us to translate what we wanted repaired to his workers who only spoke Spanish. Meanwhile, he left his equipment on our property for three days. Once he was paid, he became even more aggressive. He tried to instigate a fight in front of our neighbors and their children. This project was a horrible experience. Don’t waste your money. We would not recommend him to anyone. On the exterior, his google ratings and flyer appear to be qualified, but after the two days of poor craftsmanship that we received, it showed us that there is nothing professional about this company.
