    He promised to get the job done quickly and drummed up sympathy by saying he was fighting kidney cancer. He insisted that I pay in advanced splitting between Venmo and Zelle. He started the job with loads of mistakes, was unreachable and never finished the job, essentially stealing money.

    As other reviews on here, Mike started two bathroom remodels and ghosted us before they were completed. He stopped taking our calls, texts and only answers when we call from a number he doesn’t know. The number of excuses he has used is unbelievable. Looks like it’s a pattern.

    I don't know how this person can call himself a contractor, or how he stays in business. He in unqualified, inept, a liar, unresponsive and will steal your money and never return. He owes us money for work he has not done. HE WILL BE SUED. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS CHEAT.

    Bathroom Remodel

    Mike Cano started 2 projects with us, a master bathroom and guest bathroom remodel. The master bathroom remodel took over 3 months to complete and still has unfinished work and he started on the guest and left it halfway complete but took 3/4 of the total payment. He has disappeared, not returned our calls for weeks, and we are left w/ 2 unfinished bathrooms, and paid for work that has not been completed. We DO NOT recommend contracting Mike Cano.
