Very disappointing experience. I contracted for a full condo renovation a year in advance. Despite paying Ms. Kocis a retainer, she was absent most of the time and could not keep track of details and orders. She works with only the most expensive suppliers, who could not deliver on time. The level of Ms. Kocis’ unprofessionalism was staggering: at the 10-month mark, I received her first invoice where she demanded full payment or would not finish the job. She could not supply an itemized invoice to justify her exorbitant charges, I had no idea what I was being charged for, and I had to get an attorney involved. Design skills were so-so, basically recycles ideas from HGTV. Definitely not worth the trouble.
