Caraway Construction in Odessa Florida did our construction project on a remodel of our Kitchen in late 2014. Our permit date was Jan-28-2015. It took Caraway longer to complete the work than first expected due to some red tag issues with electrical and water pipes, but they did complete the construction and it passed inspection. Go forward to 2017. We were setting in our living room, and the crown molding came off the wall by our cabinets. Well, to say the least that was a big surprise. My husband looked at it and found the nails were not even hammered into the wood, so we called Allan the owner. It was less than 1 year at this point. They came out and took care of it, and I asked them to check the other areas, but they said it was ok and did not bother to check anything else. We were thinking that was the end of it.... NO, it was not. This has happened twice and recently happened for the third time, but my husband caught it before it fell. My husband called the cabinet company and they said they could send him a repair kit for $60.00 and that they would let Alan Caraway, the owner, know we had called. We received the repair kit and my husband fixed the problem for the time being, but not sure if others will fall. From every thing he saw the cabinets were not put in the way they should have been and so the nails just barely ketch the wood. Not very good for a $12,000 job. We also had multiple problems with the plumbing under the kitchen sink as it kept coming loose and would flood the new cabinet. After this happened 3 times, we called our maintenance man and he found the pipe they had cut under the sink was too short causing the flooding when running the dish washer. I had called Alan and left a message several times to discuss these problems, but he never called me back. Would I use this company again? NO... Would I recommend this company to others... NO. If something so simple as a crown molding is falling off the wall then what else is not done right, it makes us wonder..
