I would highly recommend Cardan Marine Construction, they went beyond my expectations and take pride in their work...had a bulkhead and wrap around deck put in by them and their work is expertise! They were very courteous and helpful throughout the project! Five stars!

Contractor claimed he could repair a leaning bulkhead. He charged $7200, and was not able to straighten as promised. Bulkhead was leaning worse than before. I was unsatisfied so he agreed to replace the bulkhead for a total of $14000, including the first repair. He also claimed to be able to save the upper dock, which was not the case. He removed my floating dock poles and used them to reset the dock poles which he was supposed to save. During the demo work, he used the neighbors property without permission and removed the surveying markers for their new house. After 1 month of countless phone messages, I took the liberty of calling his references that he gave him high marks. Before I finished with the third reference, the contractor called me. He was angry that I had called his customers. He met with me and agreed to " make it right ". He said the work would be done in 2 weeks. Well, it's been 4 months and many attempts to contact him. The quality of their workmanship is fine. The way they operate is very poor. I'm currently left with an unfinished project, that I will have to solicit bids to complete.
Response from Cardan Marine Construction Inc September 28, 2017We did the repair of which there was no guarantee. The existing bulkhead was blown out and not structurally correct. We did contact the customer and suggested changing the wall. We gave the customer a full credit on the repair and we installed a new wall. The customer wanted more additional work done for free and we tried to please but he could not be pleased. We lost money on the job because we did the repair for nothing and installed the bulkhead. We take pride in our work and always aim to please the customer.

They were the best! I will totally recommend them. Pricing was good, did additional work at my request for no charge. Clean, neat. Bulkhead is straight as an arrow. Decking made of composite material is top notch. It was a pleasure working with Dan his Son and crew. My wife and I are totally happy.
