I hired Cardoso Painting to repaint my interior cottage (700 sq ft), paying $3,500 for labor (I supplied the paint), and was told the job would take 3–4 days. Instead, it took 10 days to complete, with work done by one inexperienced, unsupervised worker. Surfaces were left unprotected, there was a paint spill that left a stain on my hardwood floor, poor patching, and paint debris throughout. The company purchased the wrong paint — a mistake I had to fix myself. Communication was virtually nonexistent, and the worksite was left dirty. I had to call and complain before it was finally cleaned, but the cleanup was incomplete, leaving the space in much the same condition as before the job — spotty and unprofessional. I now need to hire another contractor to correct their poor work, and I incurred additional housing costs as a result. Cardoso Painting advertises itself as Professionals but they are not. Terrible service — do not give them your business or your hard-earned money.
