Joey Moore of Carova Beach Builders, from our perspective, is the best builder in the 4x4 area in Corolla, NC. The quality and attention to detail in a Carova Beach Builders home is unsurpassed. Unlike other builders we have worked with in the past, Joey Moore was able to provide guidance in lot selection, construction drawing modifications and in every aspect of the construction phase. Joey was never too busy to answer any and all of our questions in a timely manner. He has a tremendous personality that makes the process enjoyable. We are thankful to Joey Moore for his organizational skills and strong work ethic in building such an amazing home for us.

We chose carova beach builders to construct our ocean from home in 2021. Joey is a great communicator and we enjoyed working with him through the entire process. At the front end, he helped us narrow down our basic design and find an architect to work with to make sure we got what he wanted. When construction began, he sent us pictures and videos almost weekly and welcomed us onto the job site as often as we wanted to be there to make sure everything was going to be just what we wanted. He was flexible when we came up with new ideas in the middle of the process (like my recessed broom closet or the custom bench I wanted to build myself for the nook in the living room). He recognized it was our house and worked with us to solve any problems that came up along the way. It was a bummer when the window company lost our bathroom windows and we had to either halt construction or remove them from the plans, but we appreciated the dialog and the efforts to solve problems as a team. I can’t imagine working with anyone else. The house is solid, and it is beautiful. The materials were all high quality and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Joey Moore helped us find the perfect lot to build our dream house on during the pandemic. Once we had the lot secured, he worked with us to find the perfect home design and worked with us to tailor the plans to our liking. He communicated with us every step of the way. If you have Joey build your home, you’ll have a solid home and friend in North Beach for life.

Joey is a true professional. Very hands-on throughout the entire process and makes it what it should be…personal. Operates with no hidden fees and when outside of the norm happens he’s very flexible and works with the owner for a best outcome for all parties.
