Joe at Carpet Club is mostly talk. His certified floorcovering installer credentials are out of date, needed to be renewed in 2009, apparently he has not seen the need or desire to update his certifications. Does not show up on time, does not keep to verbal commitments for start dates, and will not put an install date or completion date on his contracts, He does this so that when you complain or address timely installation or completion he can point at his written contract and say "there's no start date or completion date on my contract in writing". His contract is in a very generic form that can be bought at any business supply store. Most reputable businesses have their contracts and or receipts professsionally printed up with their business address, phone # and appropriate license numbers. This should of been a red flag to me with the generic contract as to the type of business that he is. He also does not like anyone watching him while he works, this is another red flag of his business work-- what is it that he is doing that he doesn't want you to see? I would never recommend this contractor or do business with him again. 6/29/13
