We contracted with Bruce Carrell to build a custom home. We were very happy with the design and the agreement to make changes. Unfortunately, after the build there is zero customer service and failure to follow up. Although we have many issues regarding “fit and finish” issues our biggest and most costly issue is the damage to our patio pavers. On the day of closing there was a brown stain covering the majority of the pavers. They assured us the stain would be repaired . They tried to pressure wash when they didn’t work tried a strong mixture of muriatic acid. The stain was gone as was the top layer of the pavers. Our new Coyote grill hood, drawers, refrigerator was covered with rust.
The vendor who installed them said they were ruined and need to be replaced.
Now, Bruce Carrell personally said he would not replace but would take out then we could replace at our cost, he would refund what we initially paid.
or he would pay to seal the damaged stone. Now, we paid a total cost for our pool patio so have no idea what we paid for the pavers. We paid for a new custom home but have a home with cabinet fell off the wall, fence rails and gate falling off, pavers ruined, building issues you would expect in a cheaper stick built house. Bruce Carrell personally blames the new homeowner for any issues and rudely refuses to repair. Do not recommend buying a home from Carrell Group.
