As a retired knowledgeable home owner, I was able to spend a lot of time on site watching the Carreno Framing crew build our 4000 walkout basement home located in the Hills of Santa Clara.
The framing is complete. We are extremely satisfied with the results. We are very grateful our general contractor chose Carreno as the framing sub-contractor.
All the horror stories we have heard, and in many cases experienced in the past, never materialized. The crew always, always came on time. Always on days expected as scheduled and worked tirelessly an entire day. Everyone performed their part in a professional manner, very competent and showed that they cared how the build turned out.
Corrections were always due owner changes to the construction drawings. This raised the lead's eyebrow as they take the plans very seriously. Our general contractor gave them permission to deviate from the drawing. That made my wife and I happy. Mind you, I am talking about a few minor changes, easily made.
I don't know how they do it but these guys totally understand the engineering drawing details. I know because I watched them go over it. Their measurements were accurate, the building matches all dimensions I personally made against the plan.
Carreno communicated with the general contractor as well as me as to scheduling. Carreno was very accommodating and flexible. A lot more than we ever experienced.
Bottom line, we are very pleased with the experience we had with Carreno. We are even more pleased with the results they produced. We highly recommend using Carreno.
