Carreras Construction

I do not wish to harm anyone or any business, but I'm hoping this review might save someone from the frustration I've experienced. In May of 2021, I contracted with Chris to do gutter replacement and siding of the soffits and fascia. On June 1 I paid $2,421---half of the total price.. Work was expected to start in June. Then it was August. And so on... During this time it was always me reaching out for info--Chris never contacted me with updates. When work finally began in NOVEMBER Chris said that, due to the pandemic and shortages, he was unable to get my original 5 inch gutters so we would have to go with 6 inch at an additional cost of $450. Because my old gutters were already off the house, I felt that I had no choice but to pay extra (even though I stressed that the original gutters should had been purchased with the deposit I gave). When work did begin, it was inconsistent, to which Chris defensively explained that he had a lot of other projects going on. When it was finished things did look fine and I was glad to be done with the experience. But, in March 2022-- just four months after installation-- my gutters began to separate from the house. I contacted Chris and he said he would be out. He never showed. Repeated texts and promises and, SIX MONTHS LATER, he still hasn't come out to do the necessary repairs. He didn't answer my last text and his voice mailbox is full. I will keep trying, but do yourself a favor and avoid Carreras Construction. ( I have documentation of everything I've posted here.)
