I recently hired Carter's Home Improvement,1903 79 street, Kenosha, WI to re-do my garage. He was suppose to repair cracks in the ceiling, add insulation, install dry wall, paint everything including the floor. Also add some shelves and install a light fixture. He charged me $2456.
My biggest complaint is his fixing my ceiling for he was too cheap to add heat to dry his mud work (which is all cracked) and his paint job is terrible, he spot painted it! Just imagine that! Now I will have to hire some knowledgeable person to come in an re-do his work.
I feel he has down graded my home with his sloppy work. They gave him a A+ on the BBB (I really don't know how he got that, it must have been family helping him out).
And besides his sloppy work he also left me cigarette butts and spilled coffee to clean up each day!
If you say anything to him about his work (which I did) he has an answer for everything plus he lies about things he going to do for you!
I contacted the BBB and Katrina Cravy on channel 6. on this matter. Probably will be talking to an attorney soon.
