Steve Caruso built a 3 car garage with a second story. The project value was over 100k. The project was not completed on time and the finish work was not to my likeing. He begged for money on the final payment and it was split into four parts. He then put a lean on my property and sued me for 10k for extra work?
The extra work was things he bid and limited the amount.Response from Caruso Pacific Construction October 14, 2016Bob G was a client whom I built a beautiful 3 car garage with two bdr. guest house Mr. Green on many numerous occasions asked me to perform "extra work"costing me tens of thousands of dollars. I did the work and Bob G refused to pay me. I tried to make changes to the contract to off set the cost up front and Mr. G refused to pay. I took him to court and was awarded the full amount i sued him for. The evidence showed Mr. G was wrong. The project came out beautiful and Mr. G actually got a great deal even with the court ruling in my favor. Thank you. Please contact me if you need any further information regarding this project, including photos of the work.

Steve did build a 3 car and a second story. But i did not ask for any extras. the doors started sticking and some screws were not long enough to keep the hinges and door square. The cement work and cement floor is starting to crack. The employee that worked for him on this job is no longer with him. My wife had a heart attack during the build and I never missed a progress completion payment. Steve was always begging to get payed early. Door in the garage lets water seep under the bottom plate (not sealed and filled properly.
