The work was done with no pride and that was evident in the fact the main water line was run to a copper pipe on the ceiling, but the new pex pipe was not attached - when we got back from vacation the pipe was hanging in the middle of the room and almost snapped. 15 months after installing the main it broke. When I called him he showed little interest in finding out what happened, told me he would try to to schedule time, wanted me to understand that he will charge by the hour no matter what even if it was his mistake, and then did not call back. This was his MO throughout our 7500 dollar re-pipe project. Rick is just concerned about making more money and not about the quality of the work or the materials he uses. I hired another plumber to fix the main who told me that the Shark Bite is required by the manufacturer to be wrapped in a silicon tape when put into the ground or the soil conditions will cause failure - this is what looks like happened - it was not wrapped in anything and failed. I would not hire or recommend this company in the future.

We were recommended to use Cascadia plumbing by another contractor on a recent project. I wish that we'd never gone with them. There as no contract ever provided, they never confirmed arrival dates or times and just showed up after suggesting a date, they left our worksite (which is our primary and only residence) with raw sewage in it and called the job "complete," but then had to come back out because they had accidentally hooked our fridge's water dispenser line into our hot water tank. All in all, the quality of work was unprofessional, the communication was unprofessional, and to top it all off, we had to have them renew their work License with the state (which has since been suspended again) at the start of the job. Seriously, I can't say it enough and will say it again and again, avoid this contractor if you're considering plumbing work. The only thing that made it two stars instead of one was that when we called their fridge water line issue out, they came out and fixed it the next day, though they didn't communicate that they'd be coming out, nor did they wait for access to the house, they just showed up and walked in to do the work.
