    STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely horrible handling and management of project along waterfront. Almost a year later and project isn’t even close to being done. They overcharge for everything. $238 for a case of can lights that every other contractor charges $105 or less for. This is just one example. STAY AWAY!!

    Correct Damage by Storm
    $18,000

Never, ever, ever use this contractor or let insurance convince your to assign them to you.

I had damages to my house from a tree falling on it on December 27th; they got the tree removed and placed a knowingly insufficient tarp over the roof. I called them and they said a temporary patch would need to be placed on the roof and they had roofers coming over; one group showed up and said "yeah we cant do this" I called them and they informed me that the insufficient tarp should be sufficient.

December 31st came and inevitably the tarp blew off the roof and we sustained significant water damage to our home; carpet soaked, pad soaked, sub floor soaked, through the dry wall in the floor below.

The initial contractor who did the initial inspection did not ever come back over to reassess damages after this. He did a half way assessment of the damages missing large portions of what needed to be repaired in his first assessment which was based upon his first impression prior to significant water damages.

We had a gas water heater vent that was broken leaking carbon monoxide into our attic space near our 2 yr old child; I brought this to there attention and they said "it should be fine". I called the insurance company demanding this be corrected as it is a safety issue; this took a week to get someone at Case to come over and make any sort of remedy.

They refused to remove the carpet pad during water mitigation and said they would contact insurance to approve and never did; I arranged this so we could attempt to dry out the flooring; they promised this for 5-6 days and nothing happened; inevitably it was not getting dry with soaked carpet/pad/flooring/dry wall no matter how many fans they put in there; which they charged almost $7000 for placing some fans in our house and dehumidifiers. I got insurance on the phone and they immediately approved it and said the company never tried to contact them.

A structural engineer was required; it took over 3 weeks to get them to get someone on the books and 5 weeks before they actually came over. They promptly submitted the report to Case Restoration and there recommendations which included large things like need for a temporary wall to be built prior to room being placed. This was NOT allocated for in the contractors estimate nor was numerous other items including dry wall repair/sub floor repair or assessment for the wall that is now concave or brick repair among other items. He made an addendum which took another week. Jason (Contractor) kept telling me he was waiting on things to get approved from a guy named Joe; he would tell me things were moving forward and give nebulous responses like "we are just getting the details ironed out", "Just waiting on some other people to get some things done". This occurred for a month.

Two and a half months into out home being crushed with a large hole in our roof leaking large amounts of cold air on the home and making 1/3 of our house unusable and still nothing has been done.

I contacted the contractor and he picked up about 1/5 times and his voice mail box was full; he requested texts; he would take days to get back if he ever responded. He was full of empty promises and lies. He did show up and collected a $4150 payment but did nothing to get any work moving for the subsequent 2 weeks following receiving payment.

This company is unprofessional; does not respond to there customers and while previous reports indicate they provide care for customers something must have changed with management or who they work with because this is unimaginable. My insurance company (USAA) attempted to discuss things with them and there were not responsive. They recommended switching contracting companies after 2.5 months.

We are starting over and our home is still destroyed thanks to this company. PLEASE save yourself hundreds of phone calls and numerous hours of phone calls and frustration and never allow this company to handle any of your home repairs.

Kitchen, bathroom, and laundray room repairs
    $0

They kept not showing up. Kept saying they were contacting people to get supplies ordered, the contractors said they were not contacted. Insurance said to talk to the site supervisor's boss, the office manager would not let me. She said she was taking the supervisor off the job, then the next day decided she was not. Kept saying they were going to start work, after 2 months of them not doing anything I fired them.
